CS Joho holds talks with U.S. Ambassador
Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Cabinet Secretary Hassan Ali Joho today held talks with U.S. Ambassador Meg Whitman who paid him a courtesy call at the Ministry headquarters in Nairobi.
During the meeting, the Cabinet Secretary and U.S. Ambassador discussed the Kenya-U.S. partnership on investment in the areas of mining, blue economy and maritime affairs.
“These areas contribute fully to Kenya’s economic growth and equally has the potential of creating jobs for our young people,” CS Joho said.
The partnership is anchored on the cordial relations that the two countries have enjoyed over the years and their shared commitment to deepen it for the benefit of the people of the two nations.
Present at the meeting were Principal Secretaries Mr. Elijah Mwangi (Mining), Ms. Betsy Njagi (Blue Economy and Fisheries) and Geoffrey Eyanae Kaituko (Maritime Affairs and Shipping)
